Soul Flu

When times come that we don’t feel the presence of our Father or we can’t hear his voice clearly, we keep feeding ourselves His word.
We find nourishment in the faith of others and their testimony of His nearness and help. We find help in the Psalms of David. We find common ground in the letters of Paul. We find ourselves in Ruth’s journey or look up from the prison like Joseph must’ve done.
It’s something like when a person is sick with flu and has no appetite but must find a way to eat nourishing things. We eat the bone broth of His word that goes deep to where the sickness of sin is. One sip at a time we are healed.
